ABOUT AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION
Nurturing human potential through opportunity and guidance.
AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION is a trust established in May 2020 with Reg. No. 8/IV/2020/Thiruvananthapuram. AURA-MINDS is a group of professionals like educators, psychologists, doctors, engineers and other experts—who share a common belief that every child possesses unique strengths, talents and potential, and deserves an opportunity to discover and develop them.
We love children for their unique dreams and ideas and aspire to work alongside them, helping transform those dreams into reality.
Our initiatives focus on education and training, talent and aptitude identification, skill development, quality of life, research, healthcare, social empowerment and community-oriented programmes. We are particularly committed to taking these opportunities to children irrespective of their financial or social circumstances—even in the remotest corners of our country.
We believe that discovering and nurturing the potential of every child is not merely a family responsibility; it is a shared responsibility of parents, teachers, institutions, authorities and society. When a child's potential is recognised and nurtured at the right time, that child can grow into a confident individual and, in the long run, a valuable asset to the nation.

FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
Mr. Sanal Kumar

Sanal Kumar is an Indian Air Force Veteran, Aviation specialist with international exposure (Senior Flight Data Analyst with Honeywell Aerospace, a leading American Company), educationist, Multiple Intelligence Analyst, and social entrepreneur with a diverse professional career spanning aviation, education, training, and child development.
Driven by a passion for education and human potential, Sanal Kumar subsequently entered the field of education and established three innovative schools and preschool education initiatives in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram. He has also been actively involved in Preschool Teacher Training, contributing to the professional development of educators and the improvement of early childhood learning.
With an M.A. in English, B.Ed., and professional expertise in Multiple Intelligence Analysis, he is particularly interested in understanding the diverse abilities, learning patterns, and potential of children. This perspective forms the foundation of his vision for AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION.
His vision is to create a society where every child is given the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop their abilities, and choose an educational and career pathway aligned with their potential.

Ms. Rajani Sanal

A psychologist, educationist, early childhood education specialist, school developer & curriculum developer, student & family counsellor, financial portfolio manager and chief agency associate partner Axis Max Life Insurance Rajani brings in a whole lot of experience including professional exposure of participation in international conferences and educational forums across Russia, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Armenia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Qatar, the UAE etc.
She holds an M.Sc. in Psychology, B.Ed., B.Com., and a Student-Teacher Counselling Certification. She was the Founder Managing Director of Mamma & Me Innovative Preschool, Hyderabad & Auraminds Innovative Schools, Thiruvananthapuram and has worked as Headmistress, Principal Education Consultant, Curriculum Developer, and Trainer of Early Childhood Educators.
As Managing Trustee of AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION, Rajani Sanal contributes her experience in education, psychology, counselling, and child development to the Foundation's mission of identifying and nurturing the innate abilities and potential of children.
Her professional philosophy is centred on empowering individuals and families through informed guidance, personalized strategies, and opportunities for talent development, and career direction for sustainable growth and development.

Ms. Theertha Sanal Rajani

Theertha Sanal Rajani is a Psychologist and Counsellor with 5+ years of experience across psychology, education, counselling, and human development. She holds a postgraduate degree in Occupational and Business Psychology from Kingston University London and is pursuing postgraduate studies in Counselling and Family Therapy.
As Executive Director, AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION, she contributes to initiatives focused on mental well-being, personal growth, education, and holistic human development. Her professional expertise includes psychological support, psychometric assessment, career guidance, student counselling, and developmental workshops.
She also holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the California Hypnosis Institute and is trained in Yoga and Wellness, bringing a holistic perspective to her work with individuals and communities.

Dr. Aadya Sanal

Medicine | Critical Care | Healthcare | Human Development
Dr. Aadya Sanal is a medical professional with a strong interest in critical care, acute medicine, healthcare development, and human potential. She brings a contemporary healthcare perspective to her role as Director Research & Development of AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION, combining clinical experience with an interest in education, wellbeing, and social development.
She holds an MBBS degree and has successfully completed the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) examinations. She is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), United Kingdom, with a Licence to Practise, and has completed Advanced Life Support (ALS) training & currently serving as an ICU Medical Officer at Neyyar Medicity, Thiruvananthapuram.
As the Director Research & Development, AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION, she contributes her medical knowledge and healthcare experience towards the Foundation’s mission of identifying and nurturing individual potential. She believes in a holistic approach to human development, recognising the important connection between health, wellbeing, education, guidance, and opportunity.
Through her role, Dr. Aadya is committed to supporting initiatives that empower children, individuals, and families to recognise their strengths, make informed choices, and achieve sustainable personal and professional growth.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Mr. Nikhil Neelath

Data Science | Analytics | Technology | Innovation
Nikhil Neelath is a data and technology professional with expertise in data analysis, database management, data visualisation, and analytical problem-solving. With an academic background in computer science and data science, he brings a technology-driven and analytical perspective to his role as Technical Director, AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION.
He holds an MSc in Data Science and Analytics from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from ICFAI University, India. His professional experience includes roles and projects in data analysis, database development, transportation analytics, and business intelligence.
Nikhil has worked with organisations in India and the United Kingdom, gaining experience in analysing operational and business data, developing databases and SQL solutions, creating interactive dashboards using Power BI, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimisation. His areas of expertise include SQL and PL/SQL, Python, Power BI, data visualisation, database analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
As a Technical Director, AURA-MINDS FOUNDATION, Nikhil brings his knowledge of technology, analytics, and innovation to support the Foundation’s mission of identifying and nurturing individual potential. He believes in the effective use of technology and data-driven approaches to create opportunities, improve decision-making, and contribute towards meaningful educational and social development initiatives.
Through his role, he is committed to supporting innovative approaches that empower individuals, encourage skill development, and prepare children and young people for a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.
